The Out of the Box Programme – Turning Crisis Into Opportunity

Is crisis something that happens to us, or something we can work with? And is the current shift in the media landscape a global crisis, or a moment of change? Instability can drive reinvention when approached with intent.

In this Workshop Program, Oliver Czeslik and Kathrin Brunner (mYndstorm Productions) guide you Out of the Box – Turning Crisis Into Opportunity, a community program combining an Intro, a 2 Day Workshop and a mentoring phase. Drawing on work across media, innovation and emerging tech, we look at what happens when structures begin to crack, why that opens up new possibilities, and how to position yourself within them.

The workshop focuses on how the media industry is changing under pressure from AI, consolidation and uncertainty. It considers how the nature of work is shifting, and how existing skills can be adapted and applied in new contexts to build resilience and move into emerging spaces between traditional markets.

The program consists of

• A Peer Group with 8-15 Participants

• Intro and Workshop Block with Market Discussion, Future View, Case Studies and Outboxing

• Peer Group with regular mutual exchange
